I guarantee that most of you who watched this will do this for a week or two, and the next day you will go back to where you were. I have watched many goal oriented clips on youtube and they essentially will not help you out. We are all unik, and that means that we all have to create our own characters and goals. Worth watching, but it will not fit? you.

Some people are good communicators, Allen I think u r a good ideas man- it is? a good concept .
By: Abraham Jakub. on 05 May 12, 23:41:24
David U did a good presentation and the subject matter is worth. I have just one observation to make with due respect to your personality. When? u did the talking all by yourself without audience participation, don't you think some members of the listening audience were not carried along? Once again, it was an excellent presentation.

sure you? are. that's good, but he's getting paid to fo it. you're not... are you?

Where is the remaining video? ?
By: LucianLuminosul. on 18 Apr 12, 14:52:22
This video is full of great ideas for the GTD enthusiast! It is a useful video for someone who has already started using GTD. It is less useful for someone who never heard of GTD, because the video does not cover all the basics and all the details. It is more about advanced stuff. "The younger you are, the more you are interested in the GTD quick tips&tricks. The more senior? you are, the more you are interested in the entire GTD systematic approach." - David Allen
By: FlithySanchez. on 18 Apr 12, 13:31:36
GTD is awesome, this video however, is not. The amount of actionable stuff in this video is ridiculously low. If you are looking for a much much better into / refresher? check out "Getting Things Done GTD 101" by Gangplank on YouTube
By: mrsugarhands. on 09 Apr 12, 06:01:38
Very useful information. Worth watching? the whole thing!
By: Superogobongo. on 21 Mar 12, 03:35:40
I'm one of those people who found GTD simply 'life changing' and yet I found this presentation too long and? tiring. To all those overstressed people whose first encounter? with GTD is this video: if you found this tiring (or even stupid), do yourself a favor and give it one more chance.. Read the book or at least find some summary of the method online and try it yourselves.

There's no such thing as "common sense" in today's day and age... we now call it "uncommon sense". Dr Phil: "if you want to get out of debt, you've got to stop spending money". This is? ground-breaking for 99% of the world, I'm sure. In related news, water is wet. Details at 11.
By: powerhousephg. on 15 Mar 12, 20:10:23
so 20+ mins in...and the one thing he failed to get done... was to? tell us ANYTHING about how to get things done.
By: 711sanchez. on 15 Mar 12, 18:43:03
I do this already. It's common? sense. He says a lot of nothing!
By: oilotnoM. on 15 Mar 12, 03:57:21
That's why fascism can be popular amongst stressed peoples. Fascism, loosely, is the idea that people _are_ the societal roles they fill and in this sense, it can vastly simplify life for people. Most religions are fascist, they seek to dictate what a persons role in the world is and? in so doing, alleviate much of the effort of everyday life. Sadly, they generally implement this with strictly adhered to fairytale stories rather than logical appeal to self control.

Just watched 24:30 of this video. No useful information till that time so if you don't want? to just loose 24 minutes then skip at least to 24:00

@gemarrs? Difficult to use such a fictional and utopian example as evidence, but totally get where you're coming from.

"Am I watching this video to avoid doing what I should be doing?"?
By: gemarrs. on 02 Mar 12, 13:21:52
The last part? of this lecture made me think of Star Trek TNG. The character's work was their life. You never saw an episode where Commander Riker was in his quarters getting up in the morning and saying *sigh* "crap... time for work....". And that was a world where nobody worked for money. They worked simply out of what they do being who they are and vise versa. The separation causes the stress and in that world, there is neither.
By: DavetheLeo4915. on 20 Feb 12, 17:08:59
hahaha.. you? obviously didn't see the part about distraction
By: BobTheMunificent. on 19 Feb 12, 16:09:29
god, he does do an *awful lot* of talking around the subject. Life is way too short to listen? to this bs for more than the 5 minutes it takes to trigger my BS detector (actually, it went off within 30s but it sometimes has a hair-trigger).
By: kash1125. on 15 Feb 12, 11:27:07
Thank? you...!
By: sakrra. on 09 Feb 12, 09:38:51
It's ironic that while I'm watching this and learning to "getting things done" I am? not getting things done, because I'm at work :)
By: cshaily. on 04 Feb 12, 07:30:39
