The Missing Universe of Dark Matter
Posted by: nickharvey7
Video duration: 549 seconds
Global video hits: 533
Almost the entire Universe is missing: 96 percent. There is not enough mass in galaxies to maintain their rotational spiral shape and stop stars spinning off into deep space. To explain why galaxies are not breaking up mankind has come up with the idea that 96 percent of the Universe is Dark Matter!

Yea there's also a theory that the Earth is flat, but I think she got some big ol titties. I love the devil horn looking? logo: "Big Think."
By: Necrile. on 25 May 12, 02:31:53
just a thought experiment as to? explain to "parallel" universes
By: simfarr26. on 25 May 12, 00:28:59
How primitive!, homo sapiens still? thinks that the universe is flat.

Lazymark1 yes he has a wild imagination. He is also a founder of superstring theory. The most likely people who are capable of coming up with an explanatory theory to unify quantum mechanics with general relativity are superiorly intellectual yet have to think outside of the box with wild imaginations. You've enter into a territory which im afraid to say is out of your intellectual depth. How does it feel waking up in the morning knowing that your as retarded? as an ape? :)

This guy? has a pretty wild imagination

Actually its not boring. We can now know the ultimate truth about life and death.? With critical reason, logic, evidence, scientific methods, and common sense we can find the true answers to life and death. The truth is the fulfillment we have been searching for. Google 'truth contest' click the top result, then open and read "The Present" for life-changing wisdom.

now that we? got that cleared how the hell am i supposed to do a college project on something top scientist are not even sure about?
By: Alexsuper15. on 19 May 12, 00:25:26
We can search answers for fun and for improving our quality of life before we die. But looking for an ultimate answer seems to be impossible. Looks like we really cant know totally... we can not fully understand the? mind of "god" and maybe thats what makes all so interesting. It would be so fucking boring to have an ultimate answer... nothing else to do...
By: Amigo21189. on 17 May 12, 22:04:31
Is it at all possible that dark matter is exactly what it says on the tin? As in, regular old matter that is just not being? acted upon by EM forces at this time (in the dark, so to speak)?
By: Zalmon135. on 17 May 12, 00:51:16
because that's what humanity does as a whole: we can't handle satisfaction and we are? driven to discover and learn and question. we'll figure out what dark matter is because we have many smart people who just can't sit still not knowing what it is. then we can get to work on the next 13245678909876543213566 questions left. its not a waste. we love it, we can't get enough of it, and even if the majority of humanity becomes stagnant and content, there will always be people like Michio Kaku. :)
By: MrSkatebox09. on 16 May 12, 18:33:16
it doesn't.. all it does is fuck us all over because now we? got 132456789098765432143567 more questions following that discovery
By: The1CARNAGE1. on 15 May 12, 06:03:11
i don't want to sound like? a dick but after we figure out what dark matter is how does it help are conscious mind?
By: NepzRemix. on 13 May 12, 22:40:13
haha. i know what you mean. You just have to get used to it. There are names for properties of a quantum particle that dont even make sense like 'spin'. It is called? a spin but the particle doesnt acutally spin. just confuses the hell out of you.
By: 4LSniper. on 13 May 12, 17:47:43
I know? but it seems like a very misleading name
By: NepzRemix. on 13 May 12, 01:38:04
The thing is, universal gravitational constant does not provide enough ''attraction'' to? hold the universe together. If gravity was all that there was, then the space would literally rip apart so there has to be something else.
By: NepzRemix. on 13 May 12, 01:34:45
In the same way, the parallel lines represent the parallel universes and the wormhole? is represented by the line that intersects the parallel lines. So in theory, travel between parallel universes are possible.
By: NepzRemix. on 13 May 12, 01:34:40
Well, think of it this way, It's true that parallel lines dont intersect but what if another line intersects at an angle? The 2 original lines never touch each other but the newer line connect the two older line to each other. Therefore, an object can travel along one of the original lines until it meets the intersection point between the new line and the line it is travelling at. The object can now travel along the new line to the other original line.?
By: NetworkErrors. on 12 May 12, 04:45:32
Looking into a mirror is like looking into a parallel universe, simply because it appears to have matter because its a mimic of the reality we do live in, and simply because when you look into a mirror and when you move the mirror you see a new point if view from an angle that exists only in? empty spaces between matter, and since space is infinite and every aspect has no limits to the forces we know now. And if one day we do harness the power to move and object to the speed of light alot more p

dark matter is easy, its with in? my gut hurting my belly and im on the cutting edge of releasing it into the universe
By: incredibert. on 10 May 12, 19:44:50
It's Nibbler's excrement. Futurama is a cartoon, not reality Mr. Kaku. Better do real observable physics than loose your mind in those world of theories based on miscalculations based on postulates based on daring theories trying to prove the unprovable. Dark matter is sloppy said just the difference between observation and calculation. In their arrogance, most? today's established physicists do not accept, that their calculation just may be wrong due to a false or incomplete model or theory.
By: 4LSniper. on 09 May 12, 04:27:19
Parallel lines never intersect yet why do people always talk? about crossing into a parallel universe? :P Seems weird calling it "parallel"
