They have the same sensor mate. Lens would directly affect? the image quality. 7D will always have the better body and faster burst rate though. That being said there's not a whole lot of difference between the 1.2 and the 1.8 either besides price.
By: grantyman1. on 07 May 12, 01:46:57
can you compare the 7d with 50mm? 1.8 to the 600d with the 50mm 1.2

I see... Well, thanks for you help, I guess now I need to start thinking more seriously between the two cameras. You put up a lot? of good info on the 60D so I'll look into that one more seriously. Thanks again...
By: Ratjack. on 04 May 12, 18:53:26
.... higher FPS for burst mode is going to be mainly good for sports... if its simply just people moving around then you should not be having to fire a burst mode shot and higher FPS would not be anything great... even 5 fps will net you what you need. What you should? be adjusting is your shutter speed if your just trying to capture people moving at events. ..... you should also be shooting raw.
By: COMMANDERMATT11. on 04 May 12, 18:50:12
I already have me a decent lens to go with my current body. Most of the time I shoot in Jpegs except for when I do photoshoots. I go to a lot of conventions covering their events and a lot of the time people will be doing a? lot of moving around and sometimes I need the faster fps.
By: Ratjack. on 03 May 12, 23:50:51
invest in a good lens rather than a new body. If your shooting in RAW and other correct? settings the 7D will not get 8fps. Just remember list of most important to least important Photographer>Lens>Body. You will be wasting your money on the 7D. If you really must get a new body then get the 60D.
By: COMMANDERMATT11. on 28 Apr 12, 01:22:23
So perhaps someone could help me, I currently have the T2i but pretty soon I'm about to make an investment for another camera. I've been thinking a lot about the 7D and I really like it for it's 8fps, but after seeing more and more reviews I'm starting to get nervous about the purchase... I want a good entry level professional camera and the 7D is within my price range unlike the 5D which? costs an arm, and a leg. Suggestions?... Save, or make the jump for the 7D?
By: Joseph06238. on 25 Apr 12, 10:11:44
I? think 7D is better
