I use an inner bike tube as a grip, but I might pick up a set of Talon Grips soon. As far as your FTE, how many rounds have you shot so far through the gun? I have a G19 Gen 3? that I've shot about 1500 rounds through so far and about 1000 of the rounds were the same Federal Champion 115 grain from Walmart. I never had any jams or FTEs.
