I kind of gathered that he was wearing a mask for his stage show & not to cover the horrible deformities that resulted from weasel surgery as a child. My point was why is Squarepusher (someone who is? so old school 'electronic avantgarde') dressed up as Daft Punk (who are so mainstream). That is to say he is usually so interesting aurally, why is he being so visually lazy? Id love to see him silly hats or not, hes one of the few musicians I really love that i havent ever seen live :(

For stage show probably..looks cool? though. I would prefer interaction with the audience..having shit on your head kind of closes you off from fans. Hopefully, whatever way the show is laid out will draw the crowd together. I've always enjoyed small venues.
