Caritas Christie Hospice took amazing care with dad. I'm very relieved what could have potentially been an excruciating painful experience for dad was minimal, since he was always declining pain medication and the? nurses were amazed. With cancer there is one SMALL blessing. Perhaps it's our minds way of coping, for our memory to go and therefore there were times when dad thought he was just there for chemo. Sometimes I was grateful for that. He remembered everyone, and had an amazing room mate.

I'm very sure many people are wondering was dad in a lot of pain etc during his time at the hospice. I was amazed at the grace and? dignity dad showed in coping as he slowly lost all cognitive and other abilities. He was constantly refusing pain medication, only mentioning his right thigh was hurting. massage helped. Dad had trouble with breathing, which was eased as soon as I organised an oxygen mask. I saw in his eyes he felt hopeless, but not once did he complain. I love you and miss you dad.

.... all of our 4wding photos in it. A special mention to David Macfarlane and company... I'll be as blunt as? my father and say how many real estate agents go to their clients funerals, yet they were obviously friends, and I think that is a testament to David's character. I can see why mum and dad put so much faith in him. Thank you for looking after real estate matters whilst dad was in hospice and being supportive of our family when it was needed. A big thank you to Caritas Christie hospice.

For all who see this video, please forward to all friends of dad's who may not have been at the funeral. I'd like to take the time to thank everyone for their amazing support and love- The Allen family, The Linfox family and company, our North Warrandyte family? and of course the tennis tarts :) You all meant so much to dad it was hard to reflect even just a part of that in this slide show. There was still one box of photos (a big one too) in storage which I couldn't access and I'm sure that has
