I know it sucks. Currently waiting to find out what my iggy is too. If it is a male, the spots on? the underside of its back legs will get plump. The will stay the same if it is a female. Its just a waiting game now :)

Does he even move when you pick him up? or just sits there in shock? Your iguana could be ill or scared to even move although I could be wrong. Most iguanas take up to a year to even get use to there owners/people. Also as I already commented you really do need to get a uvb light so your iguana doesnt get metabolically bone disease and die.

By: crazykyle709. on 16 Sep 11, 19:15:36 Change the substrate to a solid substrate like non-adhesive shelf liner (he can die from loose substrate) Get a 5.0 uvb light, and a basking light. Also your iguana is going to outgrow that tank in a couple months. Mine is only 4 1/2 months old and is in a 3 foot by about 4 foot cage. Also it is going to be very hard to tame since that is a aquarium cage and opens from the top. Your iguana is? going to get 4-6 feet long! Pm me if you have any questions
