I don't like how it swings around when I'm biking around with it. Shouldn't really be an issue of the plate coming loose with the rubber padding on the top. Swinging isactually a good thing, there little chance of the mount unscrewing? itself, it ensures that the heaviest point is always pointed down. With the Capture Clip, if you change positions, like sitting, a heavy lens' weight would now be forward, 6-7 inches away from the screw, gravity will pull that part down and the mount will now be the pivot point....I see that as a problem depending on setup...think of it as a torque wrench I never really ... Do make sure you get a really good study belt if your gear is heavy, I'm a little over 5lbs when I put on my 70-200mm, vertical grip with a "regular" flash unit. DON'T expect to run or job with the Spider, camera will bounce like crazy, not comfortable at all. Cotton Carrier vest would allow you to do more active movements if that's your thing. best of luck!
