I bought it on ebay for $14 then spent $30 for an 8 gig chip. Takes a nice picture for what it is and is very stealthy. I'm learning to aim it a little better too.
If your friend has any questions, be sure to contact me. I'd love to help.
Much Love to you and tell the rest of the gang the same? for me OK.

Thanx for the tip. ... By: Clicklc1500. on 13 May 12, 15:23:03 Thanx for the tip. stoutmtc has some good stuff going on. My system is much much larger than hers and my system is what is refered to as a shift/pist system. Basicly my tank floods into the grow beds and then is pumped back to the tank. If my power goes out, my tank stays full.
Where the fittings are, they see no pressure. The water is slowly flooding out of the pipes. If I were to put a? bulkhead fitting at the bottom of the tank I would surely opt for a real one.
Thanx

Nice idea for the ... By: rallen71366. on 14 Jan 12, 16:19:44 Nice idea for the compartmentalized water storage! BTW, in your first video you said you were going to use sand as a barrel insulator, but sand isn't a very good insulator. It is great thermal mass, though. Have you looked at some of the wood-fired pizza/bread ovens called hornos? They use perlite and aluminum foil, as insulation and infra-red reflector, and then the outside skin. They can stay hot for days, because? the thermal mass is so heavily insulated.
You've done a very nice job.
very good. I would ... By: johnnyboyserbia. on 01 Jan 12, 12:04:12 very good. I would like to make the same, but there are some things that I don't understand.
1.where is the exhaust
2. and how did you do plumbing inside the barrel. You sad you have 25 galons over the flame. How have you conected that barrel with those three "containers" barrels.
3. What material you have used for filling the box-bed
4 how inche outside barrel is higher than inside barrel.
anyway, iwould apriciate more details. but, this is also great as starting point.
Thank you? for post

I wonder how long Stainless piping would hold up, maybe use double or triple wall chimney pipe? Altho clay or ceramic seems best for nonportable stoves.
My? only question ... By: apples13able. on 23 Dec 11, 16:17:35 My? only question is where is the exhaust? Is it piped outside up a chimney? And how tall is the chimney? It would make sense to go beyond the roof and that would give a loft of draft... Nice work! I'd like to see it when you replace the pipe. I'd also like to know how long the tanks hold up before rusting. Thanx for posting!
The house if around ... By: Clicklc1500. on 17 Nov 11, 18:22:08 The house if around 1500sf. The reason I used? several containers is so I can Isolate just one barrel so I don't have to wait for all the water to get hot before I have heat. The top barrel is the master barrel and can be isolated from the others until it gets hot, then I start heating all the barrels.

By: rsztv. on 24 Oct 11, 03:22:08 Well i said this for reason of that i put a rocket stove type set up on my oil boiler which was already in my basement all i needed to pay attention to is the making of a rocket stove and not spend a lot of time and energy of making something similar. but looks like you can store a lot of water of which is very good for? long term heat a "plus"

I'd like to begin ... By: mchughc. on 25 Oct 10, 22:26:04 I'd like to begin by congratulating you on some nice ingenuity. I really like the first idea with the hanger....I remember reading that before, but nice application in hot water, etc.... My only concern would be a possible taste impact from the wet-dry shop vac. I've had some pretty nasty stuff in there and? wouldn't want the slightest bit of taste, smell, whatever. Have you ever experienced any taste influence from the shop vac?

By: helicrashpro. on 08 Oct 10, 20:21:40 Put a small rubber ball in the air lock you have taped to your vacuum cleaner and you should end up with? a check valve that you can pull a vacuum and the ball will seal it off so you can shut off the vacuum cleaner and it will hold the vacuum.
